Where is David Harrisons located?
We are based in Aldreth near Ely in Cambridgeshire. Not far from Cheffins’s Cambridge Machinery Saleground at Sutton. This is handy for hauliers!

Can I come to the yard?
Yes, you are welcome to visit the yard. However, we recommend you ring and check before you set off. So, if you’re looking for something specific, we can get it out ready and also make sure there’s someone here to show you round.
Do you deliver?
Yes, delivery can be arranged on request, and we are happy to quote. We have our own 3.5t flatbed truck for smaller items and use trusted hauliers for larger pieces of equipment.

Can I trade in or sell my existing handling equipment through David Harrisons?

Why are there no prices shown on the website?
All the equipment shown is in a ‘as received condition’ (unless described otherwise).
We do not always know if its in a running condition and therefore don’t know what work is required. We sell our second-hand equipment “as seen”, “mechanically sound” or “totally rebuilt” and therefore price each item based on customers individual requirements. All prices are initially quoted on an ex-works basis.
1/ ‘As seen’ condition, we can usually test (within reason) the equipment to ensure that it operates, no further work would be carried out.
2/ ‘Mechanically sound’ condition, we would put the equipment through our workshop, checking and replacing when required any worn or broken parts, rollers and bearings etc, all electrical items would be checked and replaced where required. The item would be in full working order and ready to go.
3/ ‘Rebuilt’ condition, the equipment would be completely stripped back to its base components, shotblasted and resprayed in its original colour or to the customers requirement, any worn or broken parts replaced with new components, electrical components checked and replaced where necessary.
Can you refurbish my machinery for me?
Yes, we can offer a comprehensive service for refurbishing customers own machines. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
